The Association of National Kazkah Sports was established in May 2004. It consists of the Federations of National kinds of Equestrian sports:
Throughout Kazakhstan, there are about 500 000 members. The purpose of the organization - the revival of traditional sports as an important integral part of the culture of the Great Steppe.

The International Federation of "Kobori" is organized as well! And 17 countries are members of the International Federation. Association engaged in carrying out the activities of national and international scale.
Kazkakhstan take part Olympic competitions and it is especially successful in boxing. This has brought some attention to the Central Asian nation, and increased world awareness of its athletes.
In last 3 Olympic games their performance was assessed as one of the best and they had more medals than any countries in the world except Cuba and Russia (in all three games).
